This year the OCSA board has once again decided to cancel the normal picnic/potluck portion of our celebration due to COVID-19 concerns\, but we WILL have a parade! Yay! \nIt’ll be led by a fire truck driving through the neighborhood starting at 11 AM at the neighborhood sign and proceeding slowly (at walking speed) counter-clockwise TWICE around Oakbrook Circle. As it passes by your place the first time\, fall in behind it with your kids and their decorated bicycles\, wagons\, scooters\, pets\, etc. \nAnd just so you adults don’t feel left out\, when you pass by the first of our two flag stations\, pick one up to wave as you walk; drop it off again when you get to the second flag station. \nSee you Sunday!

The primary responsibilities of the Board are care and maintenance of the common areas\, preservation of community architectural standards\, and organizing community social activities. \nThe Board is required to adopt an annual budget and present it to the members at the annual meeting. Bring your patriotic pups too!\n\n\nPICNIC starting immediately after parade by the Oakbridge sign\n\nJoin in the picnic\, sponsored and hosted by the Neighborhood Association\, that includes prepared foods\, chips\, lemonade\, and freeze pops. If you’d like to bring your own food\, please feel free! Have a favorite game? Bring it!\n\n\nSee you there!

SUMMARY:Sauk Creek Greenway Corridor Plan
DESCRIPTION:Hi Neighbors\, \nThe city of Madison is hosting kick-off meetings for the upcoming Sauk Creek Greenway Corridor Plan on Monday\, November 6th (in person at Memorial High) and on Thursday\, November 9th (virtual via Zoom)\, both from 6:30-8:30 pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend/participate\, as this is a large project that will certainly impact our extended neighborhood. Both meetings will cover the same information. Advance registration is required for the virtual meeting\, as well as requested for the in person meeting to ensure enough tables and chairs are available (there has been immense public interest in this project; you may have even noticed yard signs in adjacent neighborhoods). See https://www.cityofmadison.com/engineering/projects/sauk-creek-greenway for registration links and additional details. \nDuring the meetings\, the city will overview the corridor and what we can expect during the corridor planning process\, focusing on the three main aspects impacting the corridor—water\, land and people. There will be an opportunity to share on our values\, how we use the corridor\, and our goals for the corridor plan as well as more general Q&A on the corridor plan process.
