Poster displaying the schedule for both the DOT Beltline Study public hearings, virtual and in-person. The virtual meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 starting at 5:00 PM on YouTube Live. The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Boys & Girls Club, 4619 Jenewein Road, Fitchburg.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is hosting two public involvement meetings (one virtual, one in-person, details in the graphic below) to present and gather feedback on the Madison Beltline Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) Study’s Draft Preferred Strategy Package. The strategy package includes potential long term solutions to address safety, accessibility, operational, and infrastructure concerns on approximately 20 miles of the beltline, from University Ave all the way around to County N in Cottage Grove. If you’re unable to attend but still want to be involved, the presentation and display materials will be posted for review on the study website at www.bit.ly/BeltlinePEL no later than Thursday, May 30, and include the main presentation video, individual displays, a survey, and a comments form to provide feedback.
