The Oakbridge Community Services Association recommends following the City of Madison’s recommended hours from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, Oct. 31. Please reference the city’s website here: cityofmadison.com/visit-play/halloween-activities.
The city’s website also recommends these safety tips:
• Make sure your costume is visible to vehicles and others.
• Do not use toy weapons as part of any costume.
• Do not trick or treat alone.
• Only go to homes that are well lit, and only go to the front door.
• Stay on sidewalks, and obey traffic signs.
• Carry a flashlight.
• Don’t eat any candy until an adult can check it for you.
• Make sure costumes do not impede movement or vision.
The website above also has information about other Halloween-related activities this week.
